- The second painting from our trip to Italy. Herculanium is a surprisingly well preserved ‘town’. The plasterwork is stunning, and because I showed such an interest in it, one of the guides allowed me access to an area not normally available to the public. My main objective with this painting was to capture the ‘colour’ of the experience.
